FAQ’s

What metals and stones do you use?

We primarily work with sterling silver and 18k-22k gold.  All our jewelry is fabricated from sheet and wire.  Hand tools are our friends.  The stones we use are sourced from some of the best cutters in the business.  We tend toward collecting and show casing Earth’s finest in our jewelry.  Rare minerals, cut in cabochon form are our stones of choice, and they come from all over the planet.  We also dabble with cutting and polishing rough we’ve purchased or collected ourselves in our lapidary studio.

Do you have a privacy policy?

We respect your privacy.  We will never sell, share or exchange your personal information.

Our website does use cookies to provide you with a great experience and to help our website run effectively.

What form of Payment do you take?

Our shop accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.  Apple Pay is available on supported devices.  We use Stripe to process payments in our store.  Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1.  This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry.

We are happy to accept payment by check, Paypal or Venmo as well, please contact us with inquires to arrange a payment that way.  When paying with a check, your jewelry will be shipped after the check is received and cleared.

Do you reproduce pieces or do custom work?

All of our pieces are pretty much one of a kind.  That’s due to each stone being so unique.  We have, however, created similar designs with different stones.  We do custom work on a limited basis.  Usually, if it’s in our wheelhouse, we will accept commission work.  Our window for custom work used to be focused at the beginning of each year, from January through March.  Now with new ways of working (and not traveling) that has changed.  If you are interested in having something made by us, please contact us and we can discuss the possibilities.

How is my jewelry shipped?

We ship all our pieces via USPS insured priority mail.  Your package will be sent by us within 1-3 business days from the date of purchase.  The cost of shipping is included in the price of the piece.  If you wish to have it shipped in a different manner, or with your carrier of choice, just contact us and we’ll be happy to try our best to make that happen.

For international customers, please contact us and we can arrange a special listing and calculate what the shipping costs would be for your country.  International orders are responsible for any customs fees or taxes that may occur upon arrival, on top of the quoted shipping charge.

What’s my Order’s Status?

After you complete a purchase from our shop, you will receive a confirmation email.  After an order has been shipped you will automatically receive an email notification that includes a tracking number that is linked to USPS.

Do you all offer Gift Wrapping?

Each piece of jewelry is lovingly packed in a cloth or velvet bag, packed within our custom logo box and tied together with string.  We include a thank you card, our business card and a polishing cloth for your gold and silver jewelry.  If you’d like something more special, please contact us and we’ll see what we can come up with :)

What is your Returns & Exchange Policy?

If within 14 days of the date of purchase, you wish to return an item, we will refund you the full price of the piece, minus the shipping cost.  Your original payment method will be credited once the piece is returned to us in a “like new” condition.  If you wish to exchange your item for another that we have on the website, you may do that as well. Please contact us for further information regarding returns/exchanges and instructions on how to return a piece to us.

Is there anything in particular I should know about the care of my Jewelry?

All of our pieces are applied with a non-toxic patina, giving the more recessed areas a dark oxidation, while the raised areas are polished out silver or gold.  Sterling silver can and will tarnish with time.  We include a small polishing cloth that you can buff up your pieces with to bring back some shine, but it will not remove all the black of a patina.  Storing your jewelry in a plastic bag or a jewelry box when not being worn will slow down the tarnishing process that happens over time.  Do not expose or immerse the stones in our jewelry to any harsh solvents or chemicals, as it could damage the polish or integrity of the material.

Do you offer repairs or sizing free of charge?

We stand by our craftsmanship but sometimes things break!  If you have an issue with a piece within 7 days of your purchasing it, please contact us and we will work with you to remedy the problem as soon as we are able.  In most cases, we do not size our rings because it often entails us taking the stone out of it’s setting, and that jeopardizes the stone.  That being said, there are a few exceptions to this rule.  We try to note each ring size as true as possible.  If you have a question about sizing or fit, please don’t hesitate to contact us!

We do not repair or work on anyone else’s jewelry but our own.
